Tail Waggin' at Sunrise

Rory is often an early riser. Even earlier than his buddies Purdey and Brodie and and much earlier than I like to get up. It would be okay if all he did was wander around the house, sniffing out things to be getting on with. But no, he likes to make a noise and he makes it clear that he wants to go into the garden. Often, he then starts to run in circuits around and around the flowerbeds. Before he starts his digging!

His bark can be heard miles away, like a ship's foghorn. Just the other day, we had a delivery driver who thought we were keeping wolves when given a blast of his bark as he approached the front door. His face was a picture.
